Kevin Patrick Smith

Kevin Patrick Smith was born and raised in Southern California in Los Angeles and now lives in Des Moines, Iowa with his wife and their six children. He has worked as a correctional officer for the past seventeen years and has a deep interest in the intricate elements of human nature and the working of the human psyche and emotions at its most sinful depths. He draws his characterizations from his own life experiences, along with a strong biblical understanding of God's approach to guilt, forgiveness and redemption, even after the most unspeakable crimes. Interwoven in his works are God's answers to the ugliness of man's failures.
